Welcome..

Hello and welcome to my website. I’m Daniel Bell. I’m a small business owner located here in beautiful Hoschton, Georgia.  So you can get a little background on me and my experience here’s a “Readers Digest” version of my computer history:

I started out in 1982 with a Timex Sinclair 1000 with 2K of memory. Kmart sold the computers exclusively for $99.00! You could “add-on” 4K of memory for another $50.00!!

I messed around for about 1 year and Commodore came out with a computer they named “Amiga 1000″.  It was a truly awesome computer. Thinking back it was more of a “multi-media” type computer. Truly in my opinion one of Commodore’s better computers for its time.

My next computer had been out about a year before the Amiga 1000 computer, the Commodore 64. It was Commodore’s own version of a “Home Computer” – 64K of memory and man was it nice! We went from a small plastic piece of really nothing (the Timex-Sinclair) to “an almost desktop size” keyboard (CPU), then you had to add the external disk drives which took up a footprint about the size of a toaster if not bigger!

Finally after a few years, I got wise and realized that all that I really needed was a “IBM Clone” basic no-name computer that would run “Microsoft Windows”.. I started back when Microsoft had just come out with their 3.1 version of Windows – and it’s been a wonderful ride ever since!

So in closing, I’ve been through it all with computers. My only regret is that I didn’t learn hardly anything about Apple – But it’s never to late to learn!
